I am a freelance costumier with extensive experience working in a wide range of theatre wardrobe departments. I have been involved at all stages of the process; from discussions over the initial designs, through cutting, making, altering, adapting and fitting the costumes, to their maintenance and dressing the shows. Have a look at the Gallery, where you will see that I have the experience to cut and make a wide variety of different designs, including stylised costumes, ladies and gentlemen’s period and modern day costumes. |

After graduating with an honours degree in Costume for the Screen and Stage from the Arts University College at Bournemouth, I specialised in costume interpretation, gaining my initial experience in women’s period and modern dress. |
I broadened my skills through jobs in flagship theatres (tailoring at Glyndebourne and women’s costume at the RSC) and built up a sound knowledge of period and modern costume cut and construction. |

I work with many designers (such as Linda Haysman, Kimie Nakano, Patrick Connellan, Deirdre Clancy, Adrian Rees, Kit Surrey), directors, actors and technical staff through production meetings and fittings. I am enthusiastic, flexible, reliable and tactful. |
